The osier

The osier is a kind of bush willow, which in our country is traditionally used for making pots and baskets. In English gardens, however, for many years it is used for making fences.The material is extremely durable and weather-resistant. Long and straight twigs can be blended in dozens of ways - a matter of taste and fantasy.
Usually reaches a height of between 3 and 6 m. Long straight branches have unusually long and narrow leaves, about 10-15 cm long and only 1 cm wide. The leaves are dark green, gray on the underside. It occurs most often near streams and other damp places.
